Pineum’s rippling abstract translations

Pineum is a design studio based in Warsaw, founded by Ewa Doroszenko and Jacek Doroszenko, one specializing in graphic design and the other in fine art. Together they work for a range of clients, focusing on visual identity, web design, graphics and photography. They work with brands and agencies on big and smaller projects developing sophisticated design solutions. Their style is current yet is still able to differentiate itself in a sea of over-saturated trends, remaining bold and contemporary in it’s rippling and tearing distortion and staple use of black and white. Soundreaming is an interactive online project that Pineum developed to document site-specific compositions and sound impressions. Soundreaming attempts to translate selected audio events, taking place on the outskirts of urban areas, to the visual language. This project pushes for the rediscovery of various urban places, cementing their audio signature into the visual world.
