Paintings of things flying, falling, and floating by Jeremy Geddes

New Zealand born artist Jeremy Geddes began painting professionally in 2003 after graduating from the Victorian College of Arts. He currently works and resides in Melbourne, Australia. The artist’s constant desire to create more works drives him to try and make the most of his time with efficient brushstrokes without damaging the quality of his artwork. Geddes thanks this for helping him develop a dynamic style of painting that continues to constantly develop as he produces more pieces. Jeremy Geddes believes that paintings are not the best media to portray fully coherent ideas but rather to set up an image with a situation that the view can become involved with and resolve within their own mind to find personal resolution.
