Natalie Foss is an illustrator based in Oslo, Norway. Her colored pencil work uses hues of primarily blues, pinks, and yellows on the faces and hands of her subjects to convey a deep, interesting serenity and engaging emotion while filling in clothing with bright colors, patterns, or stars in a way that makes them fall to the background and emphasize the physical qualities of the men and women that Foss draws. The viewer is left looking at a portrait that almost embodies that of a saint with bubble halos, somber stares, and delicately constructed hands. Enjoy her beautiful work below!
